Prevailing Torque Lock Nuts
– Product/Prevailing Torque Lock Nuts
Prevailing torque hex nuts consist of a conical top and flat bottom bearing surface with chamfered corners. This commonly used lock-nut locks the fastened joint through distortion of the top threads, which prevents the nut from loosening in the presence of shocks, vibrations and other dynamic forces.
